Hurdle in Project can come to anybody – and on any time. There are a number of hurdles that results in failure of project. Lets have a look at some of the main hurdles:
1. UNCLEAR REQUIREMENTS
Unclear requirements lead to dealy in project delivery, costs get doubled, the client’s expectations doesn’t met.
2. UNDEFINED PROJECT DEPENDENCIES
Projec is having a number of dependencies and often these dependencies are overlooked and become a hurdle in projectroject completion. These dependencies should be examined at the beginning of the project to speed up its completion.
3. PROJECT METHODOLOGY
The critical success factor of a project is Project Methodology. Project management methodology should be predefined and followed to make the project successful.
4.SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME IN STATUS MEETINGS
Status meetings are tradition way to take overview of the project status and hence an important part too. But these types of meetings wastes a lot of time too. Wastage of time can be reduced by fixing a time of the meeting and using proper project management tool.
5. KEY MEMBER ABSENCE
This issue is faced unexpectedly and can’t be planned. So, the solution of this issue is that always keep ready an alternate for the key resource.
